How do I get a pic on myspace to center at the top without the banner blocking 1/2 the pic?

I have tried many many generators and editors, but I still have the same problem. I have also tried to use alot of different pics. If I center it to the top the banner blocks 1/2 of it, If I center/center it..it is 1/2 way down the page. I am soooo frustrated, please help.
