By blocking someone what does that do? can they just not view your site all together.? Not even leave messages?

Blocked users can still view your profile, but they cannot send you a message or communicate with you. If you do not want them to see your profile, you can go to Account Settings %26gt; Privacy Settings and make your account viewable to only your friends.
