Has anyone ever had copyright warnings from myspace? what you do if you get one? im worried..?

also if worse case scenario you get your myspace deleted what do you do? im worried that since i got this warning, i might have my myspace removed.... heres the email i got from myspace:---

Sorry I did not get back to you soon but doctors first. I don't see how anything can still have a copyright once it is in the system. If there is a way then a lot of people are going to have problems. When do you sleep, I have emails in the evening.

haha. i got one of those. if you had an Artist Myspace then you just cant upload anymore songs.

but if its an actual myspace, you just cant upload whatever you copyrighted.

I can solve your problem rather quickly. TAKE OFF YOUR COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL!

If you don't what copyright is.. well here is the definition..

The exclusive right to make copies, license, and otherwise exploit a literary, musical, or artistic work, whether printed, audio, video, etc.: works granted such right by law on or after January 1, 1978, are protected for the lifetime of the author or creator and for a period of 50 years after his or her death.

(Basically meaning, someone has the right to whatever you maybe copying and pasting.. and if you do it without their knowledge then it's illegal)

Myspace do not typically send these message to everyone. People who get them are often have high copyright material on their profile or one of their images were reported for abuse.

Copyright material is mainly pictures... So if you were on google and you copied and pasted a picture. Well that's copyright material. Also music, layout, background.. etc can be copyright material. Simply take it off your profile.

To ensure in the future your profile is not deleted.. Well good advice would be to only use pictures you take. Also, only use music on you buy.

there is probably a red flag that shows up,,,when something is copied either on purpose, or by accident...just go to their copyright e. program, finish it, and you'll get your rights back..don't stress, it's probably just a formality
