My previous boss blocked myspace from the internet and othe websites so I couldn't get on them.

It would have been done on the company server, and is usually done with a group policy template. Every one with your standing in the company would be affected.

The system administrator will be the only would who can change which sites you can and cannot visit.

Content-filtering is becoming more and more common in the workplace. Bosses have no plans to let their employees sit around chatting or working on their MySpace web pages on company time. In fact, they are scrambling to find better ways to do this before employees figure out how to work around it.

if those 2 sites are blocked in your school change teh 'http' to 'https' and nearly all schools will allow the 'https' version
