Ever since myspace allowed people to make their own lil "whore" space the use of this website has been ridiculous. And then everybody has to have one. Its like a yahoo profile with extras. They are ridicuous. I mean Ive seen 5 questions today alone with people asking " how do i bypass school security to get to Myspace?" Lil hint. You dont, thats why its called a firewall or an ip block or an address.. and ever since the FBI has been cracking down on sites like these with illegal happenings, schools will continue to block them.. So tell me.. what is so great about having a myspace? take some real time and make a real web page..

My space is 1 part voyeurism, 1 part popularity contest, and 1 part pedophile hangout. My space and all personal information websites should be banned from any educational institution. 14 year old kids are not responsible adults.

I seriously HATE myspace with a passion, myspace is not a place for friends, its a place for drama, in fact it ALMOST ruined my marriage.. but thats a whole different story, anyways I don't know but I think the whole site should be shut down.

It is typical behavior for teens to perseverate about things; Myspace is just one of those things.

If you're a parent, set up your own Myspace page, and let your children and their friends be your "friend". Make sure that you check your children's pages so that you know what they are up to. It is just basic parenting.

I'm at a university...and myspace is not the big 'to do' around here...it's Facebook, and network firewalls do not block access to this 'myspace-esque' service it's so damn popular that it's damaging students' grades and lousing up study times.

Myspace would not be so popular if it did not serve a purpose. I agree that kids at school should not be playing with myspace but lets face it, it is fun. I think that myspace encourages people to better understand html and is a great first step to having your own personal page. As for illegal activity, the internet is full of criminals not just myspace! Why is everyone picking on myspace, I find it no more dangerous than many of the chatrooms and bulletin boards that have been around for years. At least myspace has built in the ability for protection from criminals and predators. The real problem is lack of parental supervision and parental involvement in their childrens life.
